About me, Indonesia and Agriculture

My educational background is Hasanuddin, University Agriculture which is prepared to be the next generation of the nation, in this case in agriculture which understands many things about all aspects related to agriculture, starting from cultivation / agronomics, how to overcome pests and diseases to plants , maintaining soil and plant fertility, as well as handling crops and postharvest from each commodity. In addition, with the existence of field practices and seminars helping how should agriculture be for people's lives, both today and later. 

The conditions that can be observed while studying are still lack of direct application of practices with farmers, such as the application of techniques and utilization of agricultural technology, and others, this is caused by one of the limitations of the involvement of lecturers and students, especially the very few young lecturerswho are believed to be able to provide new knowledge to the quality of teaching and practice to farmers, what motivated me to continue my study of agricultural science is to be able to participate in advancing agriculture in Indonesia, especially in my area, namely BENER KELIPAH SELATAN, which is rich in natural products, so that later I can be more mature in contributing both in terms ofmethodology and qualifications to Agriculture and the wider community.

During college, I really liked things related to the social environment. For that, I often participate actively in organizations, such as fundraising, social services and several other activities. For thesis research, I chose the dragon fruit plant commodity. Where we already know this plant is very rich in benefits, especially health, so I am very interested in conducting research on this plant culture. With a background in agriculture, it is the right choice to study agricultural life for me, because of course it suits my life from the Farmer's family, especially Indonesia is an agrarian countrythat's where the spirit is increasingly awakened and excited. 

I already have the basic knowledge of agriculture, including about horticulture plants, and several other types of plants that are already familiar in terms of practicing them, so then I can learn more about how the role of social life in other aspects, both economic, social, cultivation, as well as the application of agricultural technologies, and most interesting in my opinion is the technology / cultivation of plants that are increasingly unique. Given that with the development  of the modern era, of course, scientific disciplines will also develop and the problems in life are increasingly complex, of course, every individual is required to be able to adapt to society,and become more useful for audiences in agriculture for survival for every creaturein advance this earth.
